I finally have a minute to blog about our fantastic trip we had to California! We drove down on a saturday. The kids were amazing in the car! We made it to Darin's parent's house that evening. It was nice to finally be there! We went to the East Stake Conference with them on sunday. It was so fun to see so many people that we haven't seen in years!!! We had a nice sunday visiting with the Smiths and Bensons! Monday we packed up again and headed to our timeshare. It was only about a mile away from Disneyland. It is a brand new resort that was amazing! We were on the 14th floor. When we opened the door to our place our jaws dropped! It was a 4 bedroom presidental suite. 5 bathrooms. It was almost 2700 square feet! It was wonderful! Since we were on the 14th floor we had a great few of Disney, California adventure and we were right next to the new city walk. Monday evening we had Darin's brother Arlos family, my brothers Frank, Charlie and Richards Familys and Darins parents over for Costco pizza and swimming. It was a great night of eating, visiting and swimming. The weather was perfect to us! Tuesday started Disneyland! Tuesday we had Richard's family, Charlie's family and Grandma Jorgensen with us. It was a lot of fun seeing California Adventure. Going on all the great rides. We played as long as we could and then went back to the place to finally eat. After we finished Kelly, Ashley and I went back to Disneyland to meet up with Kristi and Kassie Winn. It was so great to be able to spend time with them. With only the older girls there we were able to go on Space Mountain, Indiana Jones and others that not all my kids would have been able to go on. It was great! Wednesday and thursday were also Disney days. It was so great to have the three day passes! You dont feel like you have to rush. On thursday we watched the "High School Musical" parade/show. Kristin got pulled out of the audience to go up and dance with them. She was so cute and so excited!!! Thursday afternoon Grandma Jorgensen came to our place and stayed with Emily, Quinn and Chloe so Darin, Kelly, Ashley, Kristin and myself could go enjoy the last time at Disney. My friend Kassie also came with us. It was alot of fun. Later that night Kassie even babysat for us. Darin and I took his parents to Claim Jumper for Dinner. We haven't been there in a long time. It was great! Friday we played in the pool with cousins. We had to shifts of cousins. Some in the morning. And then some later after there school. We made breakfast for dinner (we needed to eat up all the food so we didn't waste it or try to take it home) It was funny but turned out good. Saturday we loaded up and started the sad drive home. We all were exhausted and didn't leave as early as we had wanted. We weren't really on the road I think until noon. Gratefully our timeshare in Vegas had an opening and we crashed there for the night. I was getting a migraine and needed to get out of the car! Sunday we made it home in time to have sunday dinner at my parents home with my cousin David and his family. It was great to be home. Sad to be home. Sad to put away the shorts and flip flops again. Today its snowing! Oh well!
