Church Ball

Doesn't he look lovely! These pictures really dont show how aweful his eye looks! It's even worse today. I took these pictures yesterday! The story behind the eye is that....Tuesday night Darin went to play BBball at the church. Alot of our stake guys go to play tues, wed, & thurs nights. Darin hasn't been for awile because he was on two softball teams. Those are over now until Spring. Well Darin went for the ball along with 3 other guys at the same time and was elbowed in the face. He went down, put his hands over his face, and touched it. It was instantly swollen. He went down the street to an insta care place but they were closing and the Dr that was there said he couldn't do anything, he needed to go to the hospital. He came home and our neighbor drove him to the hospital. He ended up having a cat scan. Gratefully nothing is broken! The Dr thought forsure it would be. Darin said he kept saying over and over, "I can't believe it's not broken!" Darin is doing great. He is more irrated then anything that his vision isn't perfect. The next morning our Bishop called to check on Darin (he was there playing ball) He said that the guy who got Darin in the face was saying that his elbow was in alot of pain! If his elbow hurt that bad, imagine how hard it hit Darin in the face!
